WHEN I SPEAK OF MONTHLY CARE HERE , IT IS REALLY A MIMIMUM TO DO ..... The grooming frequency will depend on the activities of your dog.
In summer, for example, when my dogs go outside, I wash them more often because they are dirtier.

Although they are tiny, the Yorkshire terriers are dogs that have A LOT OF HAIR , which is of course their charm and beauty!
But between you and me, hair grows awfully fast!
IT IS IMPERATIVE TO BEGIN GROOMING YOUR PUPPY WHEN HE IS VERY YOUNG, even if he does not like it and it complains, he has to be use to it
See my gorgeous teacup Mia on the right picture, despite she is only 8 months old .... she has a lot of hair!
If you want your yorkie to have shiny hair, you will have to spend at least a few minutes a day and 1 time per month you'll need to book a little more longer grooming session, unless of course you bring your yorkie to be groomed by a profesional in a Salon!

You will see soon enough that the Yorkie is a small dog who likes to be clean (My Mimi will hide under the couch if I said, "Mimi you do not SMELL good .... Ouach!) And your dog will be very grateful if you take care of him well!
Furthermore, as our little yorkies follow us around the house (typical of this race ... you move to another room in the house .... guaranteed he will to!) And they are always on or beside us, we like our doggies to smell good and have the soft and silky hair!
